Ink jet cartridges

If you have a printer in your office at home that is relatively
inexpensive, it is possible that it is an ink jet printer.  It is not
only the most popular but also the most common printer you can find in
the market today.  They work by spraying liquid ink that is also water
based through their nozzles onto the print paper.  The printers and the
ink jet cartridges that they utilize are able to produce images that
are both vibrant and stunning.  If there are problems with the quality
of the prints, it is usually attributed to the print paper used and
not the quality of the ink jet cartridges.  Substandard printing paper
absorbs ink thereby reducing image sharpness.
Ink jet printers use different types of ink jet cartridges.  There are
some ink jet cartridges that contain all the colors needed for the
production of superior quality print outs.  There are also other
printers that use two ink jet cartridges; one that that is a black and
another that is colored.  There colored cartridge contains such colors
as magenta, yellow and cyan.  Still, there are other ink jet cartridges
that have only have a single color meaning the printer needs four
cartridges to work properly.

Whatever type of ink jet cartridges, or even how many, is used by your
printer, those manufactured and vended by large printer companies are
usually very expensive.  Referred to as OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) cartridges, a 5 ml cartridge can retail for as much as
$15.  This doesn’t sound bad at first.  However, if you do your
calculations right, you will end up paying $8000 for a gallon.  For
printer ink, this is exorbitant, gas doesn’t even cost as much.
The high cost of the OEM cartridges can considerably increase the
operating expenses of small businesses.  In addition, it can make the
task of printing one’s photos at home unrealistic and may even prompt
individuals to switch off their printers more often that they would
like.  Ultimately, it makes people appreciate the fact that printers
that are ultra cheap are not such wonderful deals.  It does not make
sense getting wonderful offers on printers, if you will not actually
be able to print a thing.

Remanufactured and compatible ink jet cartridges have become readily
available, in the last few years, on the internet and in office supply
and department stores.  It is possible to use them in the majority of
the ink jet printers.  The remanufactured ink cartridges are able to
deliver printing of superior quality; they hold the same quantity, if
not more ink, as the OEM cartridges plus they are manufactured using
high quality components.  While they are similar to the brand name
cartridges, there is one major difference; they are cheaper.  Saving
cash on the ink jet cartridges that you buy by selecting
remanufactured toner cartridge or generic ones may not alter your
life.  However, it will alter your thinking where printing is
concerned.
